The Gifting Committee for the Webber Legacy Foundation has worked closely with Webber International University and its Financial Aid office to identify deserving candidates who meet the criteria for the awards, as defined by the Committee. We have outlined the application process below for those candidates. We look forward to reviewing each application, and engaging with the selected students throughout this entire process.

Application Process

As denoted on our website, the purpose of our Webber Legacy Foundation is to support students and alumni with financial and humanitarian assistance in honor of our classmates who are no longer with us. It is their spirit for life and sense of caring for others we hope to find in the recipients of the Foundation’s gifts each year.

When applying, we hope that each candidate will explore our website at webberlegacyfoundation.org, and read the memorial profiles of the Webber alumni we recognize on the site to better understand our purpose.

We ask each candidate to take the time to fill out the short application below, using this as the initial chance for our Gifting Committee to get to know each applicant. In addition, we request that the applicants submit a 1-3 minute video with the on-line application that will allow each candidate to provide a more personalized story about themselves, their Webber experiences and their life plans beyond graduation. Possible topics to cover could be –

  ❤  Activities in service to others, e.g. service organizations/clubs, volunteerism, special project
• 
  ❤ Personal views of the benefits of a small university
• 
  ❤  Impact you want to make on the world after Webber, and where

Each video submission will be reviewed by the Committee, and along with the written application, be the criteria used for personal interviews held with the members of the Foundation. These interviews will be either in-person at the campus or via video conference.

We want to thank each applicant for their time and interest, and we look forward to engaging each candidate throughout the process, and ultimately to the awarding of the gifts.
